Career: Trutnov (Czech Republic-ZBL, 2002-05), Gambrinus Brno (Czech Republic-ZBL, 2005-07)

Kulichova received a lot of criticism after last year’s FIBA World Championship because of her failure to score easy baskets which, some argued, eventually cost the team a better overall ranking in the event. Statistics prove otherwise though as she was the team’s top rebounder (7.9) and finished third on the squad in blocked shots (1.4), making her the Czech team’s third most efficient player behind Machova and Viteckova. At home Kulichova remains a constant performer and continues to improve at the club level, averaging 14.2 points and 6.2 rebounds while playing an average of 22.7 minutes in the league this season. Kulichova’s best asset remains her height. She is the team’s tallest player and the natural choice for starting center at EuroBasket Women.
