Vardarlı acts as the brains of the storm that is Turkish basketball and adds purpose to the chaos. The Izmir native has a great basketball IQ and uses it to its fullest extent on the court, but on this team there is very little time to think. That makes split-second decision making a critical part of her game. The 23-year-old is never hesitant to take the big shot and she has assumed the role of clutch performer with the national team. With EuroLeague Women experience under her belt, Vardarli has grown to be even more mature and that should show itself at EuroBasket Women.
