Since 2001 Ilona Korstin has been an undisputed member of the Russian national team. She has been an essential part of every international success of the selection. Last summer in Beijing she averaged 10.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.9 assist per game. This summer, her efficiency will still be very important for the team, as it is for club side CSKA Moscow. This season the graceful player showed all her talent once again. During the EuroLeague Women she averaged 8.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.1 assist per contest but her team did not manage to reach the Final Four. In the Russian league she scored 11.7 points per game with a similar amount of playing time. |  |
