Career: Force Majeure St. Petersburg (Russia-Superleague, 1996-97), CJM Bourges Basket (France-LFB, 1997-03), CSKA Samara (Russia-Superleague, 2003-07)

No matter why you like watching women basketball, Ilona Korstin will draw your attention. She is the embodiment of grace and beauty on court while making no concessions for talent.  The St. Petersburg native was chosen as the face of the Year of Women's Basketball and was a nominee for the FIBA Player of the Year award in 2006. A two-time Euroleague winner, Korstin is the Russians second-best player after the magnificent Stepanova with whom she forms a deadly duo at CSKA Samara. Thanks to her deceptive quickness the 27-year-old excels in the transition game and is also a fantastic rebounder for her size which is a big help for an undersized Russian team.
