Two years ago Maja Miljkovic left Serbia for the Spanish league. Since then she has played for Celta Vigo for two seasons. Last season she averaged solid numbers: 8.4 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. Even if she is only twenty-one years old she already took part in the last EuroBasket Women 2007 in Italy, averaging good figures. Last summer she did not play a lot during the Qualifying Round. The fact that she plays neither the EuroLeague Women nor the EuroCup Women is a handicap for her. But she is still very young and the national team campaigns are very rewarding for the promising young player.
