A close game for the first 15 minutes, the Netherlands opened things up with a 10-0 run to close the first half.

Irene Johanna Sloof sparked the spurt by hitting a jumper and Roetgerink’s jumper with 3:33 to go made the score 40-29.

Following Roetgerink’s basket, neither team would score again before the first half buzzer.

The Netherlands’ extended their lead to 15 in the third and Norway wouldn’t get to within single digits in the fourth quarter until the 1:29 mark.

Kristina Tattersdill, who finished with a game-high 18, hit a three with just under a minute to go to cut the lead to six (74-68), but Laura Klooj’s free throws with 13 seconds iced the game.
