Career: Chemnitz (Germany-Bundesliga, 1998-2000), University of Nevada Las Vegas (College-USA, 2000-2002), California State University of Long Beach (College-USA, 2002-2005), Visby (Sweden-First League, 2005/2006)

Known for a habit of taking naps whenever possible, Petra Gläser is anything but sleepy on the court.  The 1.95 meter center has a solid low post game, a nice mid-range shot and is a solid shooter using the backboard. After spending five years in the USA, where she gained rookie and defensive player of the year honours at Long Beach State, Gläser fell short of making the WNBA.  She went on to have decent numbers for Swedish club team Visby last year and started this season in Turkey but was injured after four games.
