Career: Faenza (Italy-A1, 1993-2004), Venezia (Italy-A1, 2004-07)
A three-point shooter who is good on the fast-break, Modica grew up in Faenza alongside her teammate Simona Ballardini. She then went to Venice, where she is completing her evolution in a system that highlights her qualities. Her legs are strong enough to defend on the European level and if she improves the use of her left hand, Modica could be a surprise for the Italian team. She has never participated in a senior level national team competition.
