Praised for her work ethic and internal drive to succeed, Natalia Vodopyanova is Igor Grudin’s first option at the small forward spot. Vodopyanova clawed her way to respect as a fearless and tough competitor with natural feel for rebounding, factors which made her a fan favourite in Poland during her stay at Gdynia. On the negative side, she is an average, at best, shooter and she has struggled from the charity stripe this season. However, her participation in EuroBasket Women 2007 is beyond question. Like many of her teammates, Vodopyanova is a car enthusiast land a big fan of Italian manufacturer Lamborghini.
