Zurro could write a book about recovering from a severe injury and fighting to get back into the National Team picture. A gold medallist at the junior level, Zurro moved to Burgos early in her career in order to increase her playing time. She proved to be up to the challenge as her toughness in the paint and ability to score from almost any position evidence. Despite knee injuries coming at inopportune times, Zurro continued to work as hard as she could and a move back to Canoe allowed her to forget the injury and get ready to jump to top level teams. Unfortunatly she didn’t show her best at either Aix-en-Provence or Hondarribia and the 26-year-old returned to Burgos once again where she has earned a return to the National Team as a result of averaging 12.3 points and 5.2 rebounds under Evaristo Pérez’s supervision.
