Career: Wasserburg (Germany-Bundesliga, 2003-06), Ros Casares Valencia (Spain First League, 2006), Lotos Gdynia (Poland First League, 2007)

The former top scorer of the German Bundesliga (17.6 ppg in 2006), Breitreiner just started playing serious basketball at the age of 16. Before that Breitreiner played tennis, with some success, and was once listed among the best 208 players on the tour. But without her older brother, the 23-year-old guard would have never switched from one sport to the other. An excellent player on the fast break, Breitreiner also has a reliable shooting touch. For club side Lotos Gdynia in Poland she averaged 8.9 points per game while hitting 50 percent of her shots. Just in her forth year as a professional athlete, Breitreiner can look upon an impressive list of titles, including two German championships and Cup titles (2005, 06), winner of the Spanish LFB cup (2006) and Polish runner-up (2007).
