Brumermane is the youngest daughter of former Latvian basketball star and three-time European Champions Cup winner Ilze Sulce-Brumermane. Brumermane was the main center for the Latvian team that won bronze at the U20 European Championship in 2005. As a young prospect she was included in the National Team roster for EuroBasket 2005 and in the little time she got, the 1.92 meter post player showed her skills and character. For the last three seasons she has been one of the leaders for club side Avantis/Turiba, however her development of late has not been very impressive. In 2007 she played 33 minutes per game and averaged 11.5 points and 10.7 rebounds per game but is capable of much more.
