Career: TTT Riga (Latvija-LSBL, 1997-99), Siena (USA-NCAA, 2000-04), Hapoel Haifa (Israel-Premier League, 2004-05), Yaya Maria (Spain-LF, 2005-06), Perfumerias Avenida (Spain-LFB, 2006-07), Hondarribia-Irun (Spain-LFB, 2007-08), Gambrinus (Czech Republik-ZBL, 2008-09), Tarbes (France-LFB, 2008-09)

A very athletic player who is effective under the basket and away from it, Jansone is a good compliment to the team's scoring "machines" like Jekabsone and Basko. She can play at both centre and power forward positions. The oldest daughter of two basketball coaches, Jansone went to America and for four years was one of the leaders of the Siena College team. After returning to Europe she spent some good years in Spain and quickly became a starting five member of Latvia national team. At the Beijing Olympics Jansone was a second best shooter for Latvia averaging 11.8 points per game. Last season she began with EuroLeague Women club Gambrinus Brno but in middle season went to Tarbes were she became a vice-champion of France with solid individual numbers - 6.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.
