The EuroBasket Women Qualifying Round concluded this evening as nine countries earned berths to play next year in Chieti, Italy.

Turkey, Serbia, Latvia, Greece and Croatia secured the best records in their respective groups and thus qualified for EuroBasket Women 2007.

As the four best second placed teams, Romania, Germany, Belarus and Belgium also secured berths to the event.

The best second-placed teams were determined according to:

1. Win/loss percentage
2. Goal average as stated in Section D of the official basketball rules
