Career: Kozachka-ZALK Zaporozhye (Ukraine-Higher League, 1999 - 2005), Dynamo Kursk (Russia-A Superleague, 2006-08), Arvi (Lithuania LMKL-08-09), MBK Ruzomberok (Slovakia - Extraliga, 2009).

Lyubov Alyushkina is a defensive-minded center. She became a real star of Kozachka-Zalk during her final years with the team, demonstrating great versatility and fantastic stats. This earned her a lucrative offer from the Russian side Dynamo Kursk, where she transferred at the end of 2005. Alyoshkina lost her playing time in Russia, but still spent three years with the team. She got her chance with the national team in EuroBasket Women qualification, but never earned the role of a leader due to a lack of consistency. Alyoshkina's great performances were followed but some weaker ones, but with her height of 2.01m she was always a factor on the defensive end.
