Slovakia team manager Daniel Jendrichovsky has faith that the Slovakia women's basketball team can still make EuroBasket 2007.
Latvia have already sewn up first place in the group, but Slovakia can finish as runners-up if they beat Belgium in their last game in qualifying on Saturday in Kosice.
Jendrichovsky said: "Latvia won in Belgium 70-63 and this result helped us to stay in fight for European Championships.
"Everything will be decided in our match against Belgium this weekend in Kosice. The girls are ready to show their best performance.
"We have to win, sure, but we do not know if it will be enough. There are still many possibilities how this qualification can finish - many things
depend on matches in another groups."
With Slovakia and Belgium level on four points after three matches, either side can still finish second. Four of the best second placed teams will qualify to EuroBasket Women, along with the five group winners.
Slovakia coach Vladimir Karnay knows what needs to be done to stop their opponents.
"Belgium has a strong team - we could to see it in our game agains them away" he said.
"There is not only Ann Wauters, there are other high quality players in this team as well.
"We have to change our tactics a little bit when we have to play a good
defense against players on perimeter as well.
"Wauters will score 20 points at any rate so we have to stop other players.
Alena Kovacova can not make any stupid fouls - she will be important for our defense against Wauters.
"I believe we will be stronger at home than away and I believe in the help of our fans."
