Dimitrakou is among the youngest players on this year’s squad, which explains why she has only played in one game with the National Team in last summer’s qualifying round. She is considered to be a top prospect, thanks to her all-around skills. Dimitrakou is a natural small forward but can play almost every position on the floor with the exception of the five. She is quick and a good shooter from behind the arc. Despite a knee surgery last winter that left her out for two months, Dimitrakou helped her team Panionios win the Greek League title. The Thessaloniki native averaged 6.7 points and 2.9 rebounds for her championship team.
