Papamichail was first included on the National Team during the EuroBasket Women 2007 qualifying round.  Coach Kostas Missas trusted her enough to play her 12 minutes per game. As a power forward, her experience could come in handy in the near future. One of the last to be left out of the EuroBasket Women 2005 roster, she performed well for Greece, ranking fourth at the U20 European Championship in the same year. Two Greek Cups in 2006 and 2007 and an A1 league title with Esperides in 2006 means a lot to a 21-year-old player. Papamichail averaged 5.7 points and 3.9 rebounds per game for Esperides in 2006-07.
