Israel are still dreaming of playing in next year's EuroBasket Women in Italy but to reach the prestigious event, they will have to progress via the additional qualifying tournament.
Qualifying Group B was not kind to coach Eli Rabbi and Co, with the side claiming a mere two wins in six games.

"We believe in our team, aware of our talent and hopefully next time we'll have better success," said forward Liad Suez to Y-net.
They will have to improve on their final performance against Ukraine, who won their encounter 91-74 in Kiev.
"We could have beat Ukraine and also prevailed in the two games against Slovenia, because we are better than they are," Suez said.
"I hope we'll learn from this for next year."
Due to security concerns, Israel played their home games in Sofia, Bulgaria.
"We had a very tough month on the road," Suez said.
"To play away from home and be in Israel only one day in a week isn't easy."
"Despite everything, we are still smiling, we connected and got along as a team, so this will only help us in the future.
"Our wins in the group proved we can play smart and well, and match up with the highest level of European basketball.
"We can win the ticket from the additional qualifying round," concluded Suez.
Comfort lies also in the arms of coach Eli Rabbi.
"We played well against the other teams," he said.
"Our group wasn't easy, but we did the best we could. Hopefully in the future we'll be able to make our dream come true."
Rabbi admitted, however, the team's opening defeat to Slovenia was probably the most detrimental.
"We started the campaign with a home loss, so we knew we might pay for that down the road," said Rabbi.
